During a time of reflection I happened to be in the book of Galatians and decided to refresh my memory of the Fruits of the Spirit – I pray that God manifest them in me and my family daily, but often don’t get past reciting “Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness…”
It was good to spend some time not just reviewing them, but taking them into context of the whole chapter. Namely, that James was contrasting the fruits of the flesh with those of the Spirit as being examples of what we as Christians should be exhibiting.
So I thought that it would be worthwhile to share what God puts on my heart as I study the Fruits of the Spirit, with each being given its own blog post so that I can properly focus. Look for this new devotion in the coming weeks!
